Book Drives

Our annual book drive is our main event. This is the bedrock of AOP. We collect different materials from all over and ship them to where they are needed the most. We prefer to collect the material and not cash. We do NOT give cash to school administrators or students, if you have to donate cash, please trust that we will purchase the materials on your behalf before sending it.  We ensure that the materials are delivered directly to the waiting hands of the students and utilized appropriately. After a drive, we make spontaneous checks on the school to ensure the materials delivered are being used by the students appropriately.

Collection Centers would be announced shortly. We are still looking for more centers so if you have a location that you think would be ideal for a drop off point, please contact us.

No child should go without the basic tools that foster learning.

Project Furnish

An initiative to provide school furniture to classrooms that are lacking.  For the first time, AOP will be collecting cash from donors to fund this project. The schools in need have been identified and we are working diligently to get the right number of furniture built for the classrooms. There are red tapes we have to go thru as unfortunately there are those who benefit from depriving our youths from getting the basic educational necessities. Nevertheless, please believe that we would cross these man-made red tapes and overcome for the benefit of the students. Please view the article on our Media page that inspired this project.

No child should have to sit on the floor to learn or carry a desk and chair to school every day.
